I'm Not Dead...I've Just Been Resting My Eyes

Hey Everyone,

As you know, it's been three years since my last post. I can't believe it but it has. So this post is to get me back on the horse again and to explain my absence. I have been working on a double major one in Biomedical Engineering and one in Fashion Design, so my life's been pretty hectic. Sometimes, well actually most of the time, I feel like a hamster on it's wheel. The faster I run, the faster I get to....nowhere. But I decided I'm changing all of that with this blog. I've been trying to decide what direction to take this blog in. But that's not how my life is. I mean sure there are a lot of blogs out there that have only one facet but this one isn't going to. As if you couldn't tell from my dual majors, I'm a little bit...what is it everyone tells me, oh yes... simply Sarah. So this blog is going to be about me getting my peacefulness back, and trying to organize this chaotic mess of my life. I used to be a person that did yoga twice a day, took long bubble baths, had time to enjoy running in the rain. But now, I don't get to do any of that I have also started another business, which for those of you keeping track of this blog from the beginning makes a whopping total of four. Add on to that hecticness of my father owning his own business and wanting my input and cooperation on that. Well, I'm actually impressed I haven't had a stroke or nervous collapse yet.

So back to the point, this blog is going to be about whatever I think I should share with you guys that day. I'm striving for new posts once a week. We'll see how it goes, don't hold your breath. These are probably going to include: food recipes, fashion, science, and I would love to incorporate yoga as well. I've recently hurt both of my knees so I've been doing modified yoga. Which well......we'll save that for tomorrow. Thanks for your increased patience.

The Dog Days Scramble

The dog days scramble, everyone is familiar with it. The time of year where you would rather do nothing but sit on the beach and let the waves cool you down. But instead, you are wrestling pre-schoolers for the last box of crayons for your 'Intro to Art' class, growing your hair as you wait in line to check out, and hunt for that infamous green Bic brand pen, "that you can find at any store." Yeah only if a hundred other students didn't know that little secret. But there is some good to going back to school...FASHION!

Here is one look I absolutely love, floral pattern shirts with velvet pants.
